| General introduction to earth and environment sciences, beginning with an overview on the universe. General theories on earth history and evolution. Introduction to mineralogy and petrography. Geological history of Belgium in European context. Influence of geology on agro-geographical regions, and on landscapes. Interpretation of geological maps. Introduction to comprehension of landscape and topography. Geology applied to building techniques. Introduction to hydrogeology, pedology and climatology. |
