| Several topics are presented and adapted following the different vocational guidances: - Production of immunoreagents: impacts in bioindustry and agronomy; - Principles and methods of vaccinology; vaccines in agriculture; - Nutrition, environmental factors and immune response; - Immunomodulation in animal production, animal reproduction, plant resistance to pathogens; - Immunity, animal welfare and health; - Abzymes: production and developments; - Specific cases: immunodeficiency, AIDS, autoimmunity, hypersensitive reactions, xenotransplantation and cancer. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| Overview of interactions between immunology, immunochemistry and biological sciences. Applied approaches especially in agricultural sciences and biological engineering. After completing the course the student is expected to - integrate immunological and/or immunochemical components in complex biological problems coming under agronomical sciences and biological engineering |
