| The "special didactic" section by itself represents half of the AESS program in Psychology and in Education Sciences (15 ECTS out of 30), and it is made up of 5 separate parts:
1. The special didactic course
2. The Experiential learning practice as a participating observer
3. The Experiential learning: taking responsibilities
4. The reflexive practice seminars
5. The school activities practice outside the classroom

Learning outcomes of the course :

| Overall, this course is intended to develop the identity and professional abilities of future teachers in secondary education in Psychology and Education Sciences. |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| The co-requisite is:
Each module includes theoretical courses and training practices. The validation of the module is conditioned by the attendance in class and the success in the associated training practices. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
 |
| The whole course in special didactics in Psychology and Education Sciences includes three modules. Each on is linked to a teaching practice.
The part II includes the second and third practises, unless the first one was already done in the Part I of the course.
The second and third teaching practises are intended to accomplish the following objectives:
Practise 2: To work on the development of skills and on the professional identity of young people who are preparing to enter jobs concerning human interactions, in the technical and professional sections of sector 8.
Practise 3: To develop and evaluate transversal and professional skills, especially through guidance and practise supervision employed by future professionals. |

Assessment methods and criteria :
 |
| Three visits to observe students in experiential learning situations will be arranged for all students, whether or not the student is currently teaching.
Interviews: a meeting will be arranged with each student at the end of the education programme, on the basis of a text written by the student.
Three marks will be given for the special didactics course; each of them must be equal to 10/20 or above. Their weight in calculating the overall grade in special didactics is indicated below:
- Evaluation of work product (reports): inclusion of data (gathered during the practise) and portfolio items checked as being graded (25%).
- Interview (25%).
- Experiential learning (practises) (50%).
