Presentation

This certificate establishes a training in hospital pharmacy or industry pharmacy for a period of 1 year minimum and 3 years maximum.
It is meant for pharmacists holder of a diploma abroad (outside the European Union) wishing to continue or complete a specialized training in a company in their country of origin or in any country outside the European Union.

Access conditions

  • To have a diploma in pharmacy, obtained in a country outside the European Union allowing the holder to exercise in the country of origin.
  • To be in possession of a selection certificate signed by the Academic responsible person and by the Dean of the Faculty of medicine.

A file must be submitted, through the Admissions department relating to the discipline in question for which the certificate was requested, at the latest by 30 April.

Teaching organization

The programme is set by teachers for each candidate individually, taking his/her previous training into account.

Duration

The programme lasts for minimum 1 year and maximum 3 years.
Before the beginning of the training and depending on the candidate's resume, the academic supervisor sets a training plan. After the training, the University of Liege will award a "certificate of further education", specifying the specialized discipline concerned ("orientation") and exclusively concerning the training made at the University of Liege.
In no case, the University of Liege may grant the academic degree of Advanced Master to the students who successfully completed the above training.
