Course contents :  The surgical pathology of production animals was treated in this course. We treated a frequently surgical pathology in Belgium. It contens lameness, digestive urinary and respiratory tract.

The course on pig surgery describes the most frequent surgical procedures carried out on the pig farm (castration, tail clipping, teeth clipping, de-tusking boar, caesarean, treatment of prolapse of the rectum or uterus,...).
Course objective :  A frequently surgical pathologies knowlegde and some surgical treatment.
Prerequisites :  Theoritical and practical knowledge in propedeutic, biology, surgical technic and anesthesia are considered as prerequisite.
Workshops :  Without.
Organization :  A power point courses was given and illustrated by movies.
Written notes :  For this year the course is not accompagned with notes.
Concerning pig, notes will be available on myULg.
Assessment :  Written examination with open questions.
