| Course objective : | To describe the diversity of cultural associations in lowland and highland tropical regions, to understand their physiological and socio-economical principles and to develop factors of varietal and phytotechnical improvement. After completing the course the student is expected to -analyse the varietal and cultural components of crop associations -criticize the mechanisms of cooperation and competition among associated crops -discuss specific improvements of cultural associations in the tropics |
