Course contents :  While including a constant reference to theoretical tenets, the course introduces students to different kinds of translation, different kinds of texts and various areas of knowledge.
Course objective :  Comfort translating responses, including the frequent need to rephrase the original.
Prerequisites :  A good knowledge of English and an excellent knowledge of French.
Workshops :  A large part of the course consists of exercises.
Organization :  Four hours a week during the second term.
Assessment :  Students active involvement in the course is a plus ; apart from regular evaluations the final examination consists of a written test followed by an interview which gives students to modify their translation or account for their choices.
