| Course objective : | The goal is to show to the students the multidisciplinarity of toxicolgical sciences.
1.Different chemical products (including drugs and drugs of abuse) which are at risk for human health;
2.Metabolism of xenobiotics, related to toxicity;
3. Pharmacokinetic steps, and importance for therapeutic drug monitoring ;
4.Major drugs side effects, major drug-drug interactions;
5.Belgian and european systems of pharmacovigilancy. |

| Workshops : | 25 hours of practical sessiosn are organized on mondays and wednesdays, during 3 weeks, in the 1st and the 2nd part of the year, with :
- visit of routine laboratory;
- visit of forensic part of the laboratory;
- discussion of drug-drug interactions;
- problem based learning on pharmaco or toxicovigilancy. |
