Course contents :  After the study of the main concepts in political science (political regimes, ideologies, political parties, and electoral systems), this course introduces students to the main topics in political behaviour (political socialisation, public opinion, participation, generations, political psychology, social movements). It also presents several theories (School of Michigan, functionalism, rational choice, and methodological individualism).
Prerequisites :  N.A.
Organization :  The course is based in weekly lectures (with slides) and a textbook (to be announced at the beginning of the semester).
Assessment :  Two written exams (in January and June) based on the lectures and the complementary readings. The questions cover the material presented in the lectures and the readings and require short answers.
