Master in Space Sciences, Research focus, 1st yearToute l'année3
Master in Space Sciences, Research focus, 2nd yearToute l'année3
Holder(s) :  Géraldine Letawe, Pierre Magain

Course contents :  We propose an introduction to the understanding of our universe beyond the Milky Way: formation and properties of galaxies, active galactic nuclei, clusters and groups of galaxies, high redshift universe... and also the cosmology basics useful to understand the up-to-date vision of the formation and evolution of the universe (distances, dark matter, gravitational lensing, cosmic microwave backrgound).
This lecture will focus on observing means, phenomenological aspects and modeling as well.
Prerequisites :  Astrophysics (SPAT0033-1)
Workshops :  A personal research work will be asked to the students.
Organization :  2h lectures in 2nd semester
Written notes :  A copy of the slides is available.
