The seminar will allow students to get to know some main theoretical models and scientific pieces of work developed in the socio-anthropology of health and the sociologically analyse the discussions and current challenges in the field of health.

Organization :  The seminar takes place in two phases:
- in the first phase, five sessions will be devoted to the presentation of pieces of work and theoretical models developed in the socio-anthropology of health, followed by a discussion with students. Each session will be based on a chapter from the reading portfolio which students will have read in advance.
- in the second phase, one or more sessions (depending on the number of students) will be organised to present students' individual work, followed by a discussion involving all participants.
Written notes :  A reading list will be given to students in the first session.
Assessment :  Assessment will focus on participation in seminars on the one hand, and individual work on the other.
