Course contents :  Interactive course constituted in two parts:

1-Introductive Part: presenting the guidelines in Biosafety especially related to the activities in the different fields as Research Laboratories, Industry, the Reseach & Development and the Environment.

2-Practical Training: learning the different ways to apply the Biosafety procedures in practical exercices,especially in BSL1, 2 and 3 working conditions.
Course objective :  The principal aim of this course is learning of the evaluation of the potential biological risks in different activities by different Biosafety approaches impliing adapted management in phasis with the Guidelines, the Good Laboratory Practices and the different law contexts
Prerequisites :  Inscription in Master 2 of biomedical sciences in sections:

-Digestion & Nutrition, or

-Biological Analyses, or

-Pharmacology and Toxicology
Workshops :  The theorical approach of the Biosafety is completed by a progressive and integrated practical training by real exercices including different emergency situations, biological contamination, decontamination procedures...
Organization :  The introductive part (5h) and the practical training part (5h) of this course are organized following the planning proposed in Master 2 in the SBiM section
Written notes :  Copies of the different presentations will be proposed to the students after the courses aiming to a high interactivity of the students during the course
Assessment :  by MCQ for the theorical part and by manuscript report for the practical part
