Course contents :  The most common diseases of poultry and / or rabbits are described on the basis of differential diagnosis
Course objective :  The aim of this course is to help students acquiring a diagnosis-type way of thinking so that they would be able to diagnose, forecast, treat, and propose a vaccination schemes for the most common diseases of poultry. Indeed poultry is one of the mort important production for developing countries.

Rabbit diseases are discussed when large number of students has development research programs dedicated to rabbit production.
Prerequisites :  Notions dedicated to anatomy and physiology of birds and basic notions of bacteriology, virology, parasitology are of the uppermost importance.
Workshops :  No practical works are linked with this course. Motivated students may take part to the Clinic for Birds, Rabbits and Rodents (ref. VETE0080-2). Making an appointment with tenure is compulsory.
Written notes :  Students may ask a copy of the slides at the first course. Notes from the course ref. VETE0027 are useful readings.
