| Course contents : | The anatomy of the spine usefull to a future physiotherapist is exposed during three sessions using Powerpoint procedures
The partim "Biomechanics" applies to the vertebral column the mechanic principles to deduce the strains underwent by the structures in static and dynamic conditions.
The partim "Special Pathologies" learn to the students the diseases and static troubles of the vertebral column that can be treated by Physiotherapy.

- Spondylolyse and spondylisthesis and sport
- Scheuermann disease: contraindication to sport ?
The student will learn the specifics of a post surgical patient in order to adapt the proper rehabilitation program without compromising the operative result
The course involves two main topics :
- the Belgian organisation of prevention services in the enterprises and the tasks devoted to the physiotherapist in such services
- the prevention strategies aiming at reducing the transition of low back pain to a chronic stage , with a strong emphasis on "return to work programs"
