Course contents :  In psychology, evaluation aims to product objects on which it is possible to refer to act (Desrosières, 2000).

These objects are "degrés of conviction", probabilized beliefs.

They form a framework making it possible to think together forms of distinct certainty: the mathematical certainty of the demonstration, the physical certainty of évidence of the directions, and the moral certainty of testimony and the conjecture.

After having defined the concept of evaluation and having integrated the concept of evaluation in contemporary psychology, this course poses a general reflexion to the measure in clinical and preclinic sciences.

A critical approach of the tools used by the psychologist puts in prospect, in particular historical, this use in the various fields of l evlauation (individual, family, school, company, culture...).

A share of this course aims to (1) teaching a method of analyse of speech (structural analysis) and (2) to involve student with clinical evaluation via critical presentation of evaluation report, work on clinical material and analyses of projective tests.

Lastly, the course ends in a drive with the drafting of evaluation report and a preparation with examination.
Course objective :
  • To define and discuss the concept d evaluation (Definitions, goals, causes, finality, methods)
  • To integrate infantile evaluation in contemporary psychology ... and vice versa (unification of complementary theories rather systematic antagonism)
  • General reflexion to the measure and evaluation in clinical and preclinical sciences (the mathematical reduction, the question of the sens, speech and symbols, problems of the objective methods, the danger to separate the tools from their theories of references and thus of the need for knowing and the tools and the theories)
  • Critical approach of tools and its use (historical perspective , utility, skew)
  • Study of the fields of evaluation (individual, family, school, company, culture...)
  • Drive with evaluation (critical presentation of report of evaluation, work on clinical material, analyzes projective tests)
