Course contents :  Evolution and diversity of primates. Taxonomy, ecology, reproduction and development. Social structure, cooperation and competition, conflict regulation and resolution. Inter-specific interactions, conservation. Cognitive capacities in natural environment.
Course objective :  Emphasis on diversity in primates, from taxonomy, social structures and organizations, to cognitive capacities. Develop a comparative approach betwwen human and non-human primates.. Realize a bibliographical synthesis.
Prerequisites :  General ethology
Organization :  Theoretical lectures and seminars
Written notes :  Reading file of selected chapters and articles
Assessment :  Written tesst: (40%). Synthesis and oral presentation (60%)
