| Course contents : | The course covers different methods of analysis and treatment developed as part of the cognitive-behavioural approach. Some methods are presented with the help of experienced clinicians who employ them regularly. Certain semiological and epidemiological material is reviewed. Various theoretical models are presented in detail.
Main themes
-The therapeutic process (holistic theory, functional analysis) - Some techniques: exposition, cognitive restructuration, problem solving
The following themes vary depending on the year, in relation to the availability of outside lecturers:
-Simple phobias -Social phobias -Obsessive-compulsive syndromes -Mood disturbances -Post-traumatic stress -Eating disorders -Schizophrenia and psychotic disorders -Dependency |

| Course objective : | Gain knowledge concerning different methods of intervention developed in cognitive-behavioural clinics of proven value. Students will become aware of their indications, their contributions, and their limits. |
