| Course contents : | Model typology. Model construction : objectives, spatio temporal scales, hypothèses, construction of the equation system. Model realisation : algorithm construction, sensitivity analysis, calibration, valdiation. Examples : Verhulst model, Prey - predator model, Farquar model. |
 |
| Course objective : | Conceive models based on basic laws that describe mass or energy exchanges in biosystems. After completing the course the student is expected to - Conceive the structure of numerical model based on fundamental laws and describing biosystem exchanges. -Perform model sensitivity analysis and apply calibration and validation procedure. -Interpret model solution. |
