Course contents :  Model typology. Model construction : objectives, spatio temporal scales, hypothèses, construction of the equation system.
Model realisation : algorithm construction, sensitivity analysis, calibration, valdiation.
Examples : Verhulst model, Prey - predator model, Farquar model.
Course objective :  Conceive models based on basic laws that describe mass or energy exchanges in biosystems.
After completing the course the student is expected to
- Conceive the structure of numerical model based on fundamental laws and describing biosystem exchanges.
-Perform model sensitivity analysis and apply calibration and validation procedure.
-Interpret model solution.
Prerequisites :  -- PH103 - Environmental physics
-- SI204 - Computer science and algorithmic
Organization :  Lectures : 16h
Practical Works : 8h
Assessment :  Oral examination (100%)
