| Language : | French language |
| Course contents : | The aim of this course is to familiarize the student with relativistic quantum mechanics. It covers the relativistic wave equations (Klein-Gordon, Dirac, Maxwell) for spin 0, 1/2 or 1 particles. It gives also a short introduction to quantum statistics for relativistic particles. |
| Course objective : | The objective is to describe relativistics quantum mechanics and discuss the implications of the various wave equations. |
| Prerequisites : | Having followed an introductory course on non-relativistic quantum mechanics |
| Workshops : | Solution of illustrative exercises |
| Organization : | see official time schedule |
| Assessment : | Oral exam bearing on the understanding of concepts |
