Holder(s) :  Peter Schlagheck
Language :  French language
Course contents :  The aim of this course is to familiarize the student with relativistic quantum mechanics. It covers the relativistic wave equations (Klein-Gordon, Dirac, Maxwell) for spin 0, 1/2 or 1 particles. It gives also a short introduction to quantum statistics for relativistic particles.
Course objective :  The objective is to describe relativistics quantum mechanics and discuss the implications of the various wave equations.
Prerequisites :  Having followed an introductory course on non-relativistic quantum mechanics
Workshops :  Solution of illustrative exercises
Organization :  see official time schedule
Assessment :  Oral exam bearing on the understanding of concepts
