Course contents :  The course of General Physics II covers the following fields : electricity and magnetism, waves, optics, atomic physics, nuclear physics.
Course objective :  The goal of the course is to learn some new fundamental concepts, related to different Physics fields, and that are relevant for students in Biology and Geography.
Prerequisites :  General Physics I
Workshops :  Laboratory related to different parts of the course are organised (schedule communicated at the beginning of the academic year).
Organization :  Course : 4 hours a week. Laboratories and exercices : the schedule will be available at the beginning of the academic year. The presence at the laboratories is MANDATORY.
Written notes :  Book : PHYSIQUE (4th Edition, vol. 2-3), by H. Benson (2009, De Boek, Bruxelles). The slides are available at : http://www.phythema.ulg.ac.be
Assessment :  The course ends in January. The exam will be made of 3 parts : - oral exam : theory - writing exam : exercices - practical exam : laboratories
