| Course contents : | The course focuses on certain philosophical problems resulting from the label "Renaissance". Among the areas studied in this course, particular attention is paid to historiography (M. de Certeau, C. Ginzburg), aimed particularly at history and art history students who choose this course. In general, the problems raised provide an opportunity to read Montaigne's "Essais" in detail. |
 |
| Course objective : | The overall aim of this course is to provide students with an original point of view that is likely to enrich their personal research for their dissertation. The methodological and epistemological aspect is then examined. It often allows students to assess certain received definitions from the Renaissance and the multiple transformations we associate with this era. |
