Course contents :  The first part of the course consists of a general introduction to history of science and description of the main trends of this field. This presentation is illustrated by numerous particular studies. The second part of the course is organized like a seminar. Each of the students has to study in depth a question and to make an oral presentation of the results of his/her work.

Written notes :  There are neither textbooks or lecture notes. The books each student has to read depend on the question he/she has chosen to study (see "course contents").
Assessment :  Oral exam in june. The oral presentation is also taken into account.
