Course contents :  Each year, a topic is examined in terms of some of its historical developments, from Ancient time down to the work of the present day. The seminar welcomes a variety of lecturers, and takes place on one or several days of study devoted to the chosen topic.
The subject chosen for 2010-2011 is the relationship between logic and ontology.
Course objective :  Deeper understanding of concepts and issues in modal logic by knowledge of their historical development.
Prerequisites :  Bachelor's degree knowledge in logic and history of philosophy.
Workshops :  Written essay on a topic related to modal logic.
