Course contents :  This course aims to set out the various ways in which the press can be analysed - content analysis, rhetoric analysis, practical analysis - and to study statements from the point of view of how events are constructed. The course will also aim to undertake an in-depth analysis of the textual phenomenon of various events, studied in their operational context and within specific titles.
Course objective :  To introduce students to discourse analysis of the press and to sensitise them to the textual ways in which information is constructed.
Workshops :  Two written exercises are planned, to be drafted at home. These will be in preparation for the examination and will be included in the final grade.
