Course contents :  Choice of a steel. Tolerances and roughness measures. Machining steps dimensioning : scattering, setting dimension, cutting simulation. Fixing devices and rules. Machine/tool interface, from a dimensional point of view. CNC machining. Sawing and broaching. Gear cutting. Screw machining on a lathe. Division. Turning optimization.
Course objective :  Methodical use of manufacturing processes.
Prerequisites :  Genral mechanics, stength of materials, manufacturing processes.
