| Course contents : | Contents : 1. Calculus (functions of one variable): integrals; 2. Linear algebra: eigenvalues and eigenvectors, quadratic forms, diagonalization of symmetric matrices; 3. Calculus (functions of several variables): partial derivatives, differentials,optimization with or without constraints; Applications to management science and economics. |

| Course objective : | Develop rigour and abstraction. Acquire tools to understand statistics courses and models used in management science and economics. |

| Prerequisites : | Calculus (functions of one variable, up to derivatives) and basic linear algebra (matrices and determinants). |

| Workshops : | Each notion of the contents is illustrated by exercises. |
 |
| Organization : | Ex-cathedra lectures. Exercises with small groups of students. Possibility to attend "questions-and-answers" sessions. |
