Course objective :   Students will be able to understand present-day applications of Probability and Statistics. This course also provides pointers to more advanced literature so that they will be able to find material to deal with more sophisticated problems in their career. Prerequisites :   Calculus courses given to Bachelors. Workshops :   As the instructors are shared with the Calculus professor, practical sessions are given before the theory sessions.
