Course contents :  The course tells the history of the French-speaking poetry of Belgium since 1830, but especially since la Jeune Belgique and the symbolism, until our days. A transverse look will observe the trends, constants and oppositions through the whole history.

The course will have a sociological dimension by approaching the question of careers, strategies, magazines and publishers.
Course objective :  To draw a panorama so exhaustive and detailed as possible of the Belgian poetic production, in its diachronic dimension.
Workshops :  None.
Organization :  1er quadrimestre.
Assessment :  Personal work of study on a poet, a group, a current, a trend or a subject.
