Course contents :  This seminar, entitled "Aux portes de la recherche'', allows students to get more familiar with research in French linguistics. Recently issued papers, as well as must-read books sections are chosen each year for their methodological value. Every students read the entire selection. Each text is then studied by a small group students who introduce it to the others by a talk and write a report.
Course objective :  At the end, student will show he understood all the texts of the seminar and he is able to analyse scientific contributions.
Prerequisites :  Anterior linguistics class.

Written notes :  Anthology of texts, instructions, calendar.
Assessment :  Work of the year, seminar;
Oral examination on the anthology and on the obligatory reading.

Remarks :  IMPORTANT. Students have better to inquire into the anthology of texts during the first half of the year and to choose the one they will study before Christmas.
Students in Belgium will beter give back a first written work at the end of the first half of the year.
