Course contents :  Reading texts from Brâhmanas and Vedic Sûtras. Accents.
Course objective :  Familiarizing with accentuation and syntax of the vedic prose texts.
Prerequisites :  Explication of epic and classic Sanskrit texts I
Workshops :  Preparing the readings. Supervised reading of a Devanágarí vedic prosa text.
Organization :  30 h spread out over the first semester. Timetable set with the students. Opening session in September announced on Section notice board. The attendance is obligatory.
Written notes :  Photocopies of Vedic texts in Devanágarí script.
