Course contents :  Advanced study of contemporary literary and cultural theory.
Course objective :  Making the students acquainted with reading contemporary theoretical texts. Increasing their capacities to acquire the necessary knowledge on a theoretical subject and the relevant terminology.
Prerequisites :  A sufficient command of English for reading and discussing theoretical texts in this language.
Workshops :  Individual presentation of a chosen text.
Organization :  Duration and period : 30h of theory in the 2nd semester

Teaching and learning methods : lectures, individual presentations and collective discussion of the texts under scrutiny.
Written notes :  Texts selected by the lecturer.
Assessment :  Oral exam in the June session.
