| Course contents : | Theory of Dutch phonetics (with numerous exercises on pronunciation exercises and phonetic transcription), including terminology. The theory of Dutch syntax (basic principles of constructing sentences and syntactic analysis, with numerous exercises), including terminology. Widening the vocabulary (including prepositions, abbreviations, expressions and proverbs) with numerous exercises. Reading and comprehension of texts taken from Dutch and Flemish newspapers. Oral expression (conversation) and written expression (summaries, compositions). Revision of basic Dutch morphology with numerous exercises. |

| Prerequisites : | Basic concept of Dutch or knowledge of German.

| Workshops : | Practical work: repetitions, language lab work.
