Course contents :  Biennial class (even years). Translation from Ancient Greek and Greek prose composition. Some short chapters from Greek grammar. Private reading: Pindar's Olympian Odes.
Course objective :  Enhancing students' knowledge of Ancient Greek.
Prerequisites :  Very good knowledge of Ancient Greek language (grammar, stylistics and vocabulary).
Workshops :  Active participation in the exercises.

Written notes :  The course supports will be available on the Blackboard application WebCT. Private reading (Pindar's Olympian Odes) will be based on the Paris edition by Aimé Puech, Les Belles Lettres, Collection des Universités de France, 1931 (2nd ed.).
Assessment :  Written exam. Presentation. Oral examination on the private reading. There is also an evaluation of the written tests that take place during the academic year.
