| Course contents : | Some main passages from Plato's Republic on poetry as well as Homer's Odyssey 9 will be studied. In addition, there will be private reading from Herodotus. |

| Course objective : | Linguistic training, illustrating the main literary genres as well as Greek civilisation and stimulating reading of Greek authors. |

| Prerequisites : | Basic knowledge of the ancient Greek language. |
|
| Workshops : | Personal preparation is required each week. |
