Course contents :  Oral and written activities based on texts and articles dealing with psychology. Students will be required to participate actively in the course, which implies that they must have read the texts before coming to class.
Course objective :  Enhancing students' ability to cope with English texts dealing with topics related to their filed of epxertise (understanding, summarizing, reacting to the content).
Allowing students to speak about various topics related to psychology mainly through discussions based on the texts of the coursebook thereby improving other language skills, namely listening and speaking.
Prerequisites :  The level of this course corresponds to the European levels B1. Students will thus need to have a good basic knowledge of English.
Organization :  Weekly 2-hour class in a group of 25 students from September to December.
Thorough preparation is required so as to enable students to progress regularly.

Assessment :  January written exam:
reading comprehension exercises based on an unseen text, reading comprehension exercises based on fragments from the Readings file, vocabulary exercises based on the course.
