| Course contents : | IMPORTANT: teaching languages: French and German.
Main subjects:
- understanding and using titles and functions
- describing the business of an enterprise
- designating the relevant person or service
- describing a graph
- understanding an organisation chart, a memo, an activity report
- making a phone call
- ordering and paying in a restaurant
- understanding directions

| Course objective : | C1. Acquisition of every day but also of business vocabulary and of essential grammar rules to be able to communicate.
C1. Information about some intercultural aspects and about business-life in Germany.
P2. Oral drills to acquire the studied communication structures.
P2. Ability to write some short texts in German based on patterns
P3. Ability to understand oral and written messages in German (mainly business situations). |

| Organization : | Methodology:
A1. Presentation of several chapters of the book by the teacher (vocabulary, grammar rules, several aspects of business life in Germany)
A2. Exercises in the multi-media lab and the language lab, on line exercises (Lola) and work to do in class and at home to improve the listening and reading skills but also to lead the students to basic oral and written communication.
A3. Individual exercises (with the teacher's help)
