This course aims to teach foreign students an elementary level of the official Chinese language (putonghua). By so doing the student develops the four basic skills for mastering a language: listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Covered contents:

We continue to use the book New Practical Chinese Reader. We learn how to strike a conversation with a taxi driver, how Chinese celebrate their birthday, how to see a doctor, how to act and live with a Chinese girlfriend, etc.
Course objective :  C1: knowledge and retainment of the content of the course

C2: Analysis and identification of the different aspects of the written and spoken language
Prerequisites :  Chinese level 1
Workshops :  Given the structure of the Chinese language and the lack of commonalities with European languages, it is indispensable that a student learns the language on a regular if not daily basis: the pronounciation, the grammatical structures and the proper writing of Chinese characters.
