- Revision and further study of some grammar chapters; grammatical exercises.
- Study of the vocabulary , written and oral activities based on broadcasts and articles from newspapers and magazines.
These broadcasts and articles treat subjects of global interest and/or topics relating to economic life.
- Listening comprehension exercises (broadcasts from radio and TV).
Course objective :  Development and improvement of the 4 language skills (reading, listening, writing, speaking) in order to reach a good mastery of everyday Dutch. Initiation to Business Dutch.
Prerequisites :  Knowledge of the basic grammatical rules, the basic vocabulary and everyday language which corresponds to Dutch Level 1 (LANG0550-1).
Organization :  3 hours a week during the first semester
2 hours a week during the second semester


The students are asked to be active during the lessons. They can at each moment ask questions. They are also welcome at some hours at the office for more explanations.

N.B.: It is also possible to join a conversation club.
Written notes :  Syllabus and books as specified by the teacher
Assessment :  Various assessments throughout the year.

Written examination in January.
Oral and written exam at the end of the year (conditions are specified by the teacher at the beginning of the academic year)
