| Course objective : |
The course describes the basics of the strength of materials and elasticity. The course is a preliminary to other courses as Constructions processes (INGE0004) and stability of constructions (GERE0003).
After completing the course the student is expected to
- Easily deal with the basic aspects of Mechanics of structures and continuous media (all materials)
- Design and calculate elementary structures.
- Manage the basic aspects of the transmission of forces, stresses and displacements inside structures |
