Course contents :  This course covers how to make the best use of the information and the tools available on the internet to make sound investment decisions.

It addresses key questions that challenge all investors and managers concerned with the efficient use of their limited cash flows: where to find the best opportunities (information); how to assess the economic value of target companies (intelligence); how to optimize the allocation of available cash (decision); what are the key drivers of success for an investor (control).
Course objective :  Hands-on training of students to compete in a world investment environment, both as individuals and as managers.
Prerequisites :  None. Although this course would appear as a natural follow-up of Internet-Based Global Investing.
Workshops :  On-line Investment Laboratory
Organization :  This course is a challenging and time-consuming internet-based experiment.

Students study an average of seven real life investment opportunities per week.

They are required to submit written justifications for each investment/divestment decision.

Learning comes from struggling together to make the best investments and to beat the market.
Written notes :  Reading list, Internet-Based Case Analysis, Investment Laboratory.
Assessment :  Grading is based on class participation, the quality of the investment/divestment sheets and the dynamic (nominal and relative) performance or the decisions made within the Investment Laboratory.
