| Course objective : | By the end of the course, students will be able to master: the basic rules of plant composition - plant volumetry - densitites - visual characteristics as well as knowledge of plants from a visual point of view |

| Prerequisites : | Knowledge of plants - basic artistic knowledge |
|
| Workshops : | Students will approach different themes (gardens through the four seasons, %coniferous- deciduous, concepts of contrast -dominant categorised according to different aspects (colours, volumetry, form, dynamic, energy), etc... These different concepts will be acquired through simple exercises leading to plans of garden plantations (set project or first year project), Each week, students will be tested on their knowledge of plants, picking up the botanical and visual characteristics of plants. |

The concept of colour and all its applications cannot be photocopied in black and white. |

| Remarks : | Compulsory course
In the event of a second session, only the assessment parts will be resat.
However the oral exam and written exam must be resat together. This is because the oral exam is the defence of the written exam. |
