Course contents :  - Characteristics and controls of sexual plant reproduction : from the seeds to the seeds
- Principles and techniques of seed propagation : applications and limits
- Characteristics of natural vegetative reproduction
- Principles and techniques of clonal propagation : applications and limits
Course objective :  Analysis of the physiological controls of plant reproduction and their impacts in horticulture : conditions and methods of plant propagation.
After completing the course the student is expected to
- To apprehend the science background and state-of-the art of the plant reproduction biology
- To analyze the management fundamentals of flowering/ fruiting and propagation of agronomic and/or horticultural crops
- To argument the propapagation techniques and define the applications.
Prerequisites :  Botany ; Basic plant physiology .
