Course contents :  This course takes place in a coherent cursus of specialist training in connection with the activities of research of the interdisciplinary Center "'Transitions' Late Middle Ages and First Modernity" of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, information at the URL www.transitions.ulg.ac.be (http://www.transitions.ulg.ac.be/" target="_blank. In 2010-2011, the course will be dedicated in France at the time of the wars of Italy (general introduction; introduction in the Wars of Italy; the political thought in France and in Italy at the time of the Wars of Italy; a representative author, Claude de Seyssel; the royal and princely sponsorship. A part of the courses will consist of conferences presented by M.J. Dumont, Doctor in History (ULg); the part "sponsorship" implies the participation in the Georges I d'Amboise (1460-1510) colloquium. A plural figures of the Renaissance (ULg, 2 and 3 december 2010).)
Prerequisites :  The course HAAR0110-1: Seminar of Art history of Modern times: the Renaissance (D. Allart): " The royal sponsorship and the art of court in France under Charles VIII, Louis XII and François Ier " would constitute a very important complement.
