Credits/ECTS :   Master in History of Art and Archeology : General, Research Focus, 1st year First semester 5 Holder(s) :   Benoît Van den Bossche Language :   French language Course contents :   Analysis of the sculpture heritage: Art historians and archeologists have various possibilities for the analysis of sculptures or sets of sculptures. We intend to review them during a course which will be held sometimes in the lecture hall, sometimes in front of particular works that we will approach either in situ or in a laboratory. We will thus review the methods of analysis that are offered not only by the exact sciences but also by the traditional methods of Art History (iconographic study, stylistic study etc.).
