| Course contents : | Overview of artistic productions of the 15th and 16th centuries in Western Europe: important examples, chronological relationships, contextualization. Introduction to the analysis of monuments and works, and to their interpretation from a historical perspective. |

| Course objective : | To discover the evidence of art in Western Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries. Basic introduction to analytical and interpretative methods of history of art. Learning of specific terminology. |
