Course contents :  The course includes five great parts :
1. General presentation of Geomarketing: theoretical basis
2. Use of Geomarketing: with examples: market area study, location, mobility, consumption...
3. Geomarketing resources: software (owner or open source) GIS, webGIS, statistics... ; Perspectives (similar approach as SOLAP...)
4. Geomarketing - Strategy - Particiaption
5. Geomarketing and Direct Marketing ; Conclusion : strength and weakness of Geomarketing
Course objective :  To prepare the future geographers to intervene in an Geomarketing approach
Prerequisites :  Cours GEOG0206 Cartography and GIS
Cours GEOG0255 Spatial Analysis and GIS
Cours GEOG0207 Location of economic activities
Workshops :  A case study is proposed to the students
Organization :  Five sessions of 3 hours for the course and a project within the framework of the practical works, project which integrates the various aspects studies in the theoretical course
Written notes :  Files (ppt, articles...) distributed or referenced at each session
Assessment :  In first time, the assessment is based on the project initiated by practical works, this project is co-evaluated by the trainer and the student on the basis of an evaluation grid which takes into account the dissertation (written works) and the oral presentation. In second time, a written exam is organized on the theoretical basis
