Course contents :  The course includes five great parts:
1. General presentation of an environmental impact study with the assistance of a project promoter approved by the Walloon Region: Julien Pissart
2. Relations with the other planning documents (SDER, communal plans...), public authorities (CRAT, CWEDD) and inhabitants
3. Geographical bases of any study: territory taken into account, surroundings study in its natural and human dimensions...
4. Some more specific aspects: mobility, noise, socio-economic aspects...
5. Tools of reference for a study: statistics, GIS, investigations...
Course objective :  To prepare the futur geographers to intervene in an impact study
Prerequisites :  Cours GEOG0604-1 Master 1 en Sciences géographiques. Développement et aménagement des territoires
Workshops :  A case study is proposed to the students
Organization :  Five sessions of 2 hours for the course and a project within the framework of the practical works, project which integrates the various aspects studies in the theoretical course
Written notes :  Files distributed or referended at each session
Assessment :  The assessment is based on the project initiated by practical works, this project is co-evaluated by the trainer and the student on the basis of an evaluation grid which takes into account the dissertation (written works) and the oral presentation
