| Course contents : | The first part of the course is related to both, the research methodology in general and the use of its major tools (literature, statistics, quantitative data, surveys, interviews, and focus groups). The second part applies methods (cartography, statistics, and survey analysis) according to a collective research. |

| Course objective : | The objective of the course is to prepare the students to achieve survey, interviews and fieldwork in the field of economic and social geography.
The training confronts the students with the different stages of a survey. Students will use the more common tools used in research in human geography. |
