| Course objective : | The aim of this course is to offer students a "guide" of methods used to study geographical populations in terms of data sources, analysis methods and models and theories developed so far. The population is a subject of interdisciplinary study, the course aims to tackle the fullest extent possible the issues of this questioning at the crossroads of sociology, demography, geography and science to epidemiology. |
| Prerequisites : | We consider that the student has knowledge of English, analysis of data and statistical distributions of data. |
| Workshops : | Exercises will be as of courses and corrected, as well as mini seminars on case studies and practical applications of the material. |
| Organization : | Classes begin in the second half. The precise schedule will be posted on valves. The course will use multimedia tools. An interruption is planned. |
| Written notes : | The course notes and graphics will be given to students during the first course. A detailed bibliography will also be specified during the first course. |
| Assessment : | An oral focus on the theoretical course in session at the end of the academic year. |
