General characteristics (physical, chemical, mechanical and rheomechanical properties). Materials with hydrocarbon or polymeric binders. Materials with hydraulic binders. Silicates,ceramics and glass. Wood. Natural and recycled materials. Course objective :   Provide the knowledge to be able to select construction materials in accordance with their ability and use. Understand interaction mechanisms of materials with environnement.
